New Year. Fresh Start

Good Morning!
New voice to the blog here. While I won't be a regular voice here, I may pop in throughout the year. I pray that what God has shared with me for you will be an encouragement to you today and that you'll hold onto it throughout the year.

I just want to encourage you, this morning, to be excited about this new year; this 2023. Be excited that God is still on the throne, alive and well. The calendar may have rolled over and maybe you didn't see the fulfillment of everything He promised you last year, but that doesn't mean you can't still have those promises.
This is a new year, a new day, a new time to expect that God is going to fulfill all of His promises to you. Do not let the new year discourage you. Don't look at it with disappointment that you ended 2022 without seeing some things you were believing for. Everything He said to you, He is going to do...because God is Faithful!
Remind yourself - God is Faithful!
Say this aloud:
- It doesn't matter what things look like today, God is Faithful.
- It doesn't matter what the situation is, God is Faithful.
- It doesn't matter what people say, God is Faithful.

If God promised to put your marriage back together, if He promised healing, if He promised breakthrough, if He promised an answer, if He promised to tear down an obstacle, if He promised promotion, if He promised assignment, if He promised new levels and connections, if He promised parts of ministry exploding, or whatever His promise to you is, GOD IS FAITHFUL.

God has not changed. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Just because 2022 is ended and is over, that doesn't mean God's promises to you ended.

Whatever He has spoken to your heart and to my heart, He will do. The Bible says that if God said it, He will do it. If He spoke it, He will bring it to pass. Not one word of God is void of power. Not one word. Not one promise.

So I just want to encourage you, in 2023. Take a step deeper with God. Believe God. Step into those things with God that you've never stepped into before. Experience new things with God. Purpose to hear Him better and obey Him quicker. Don't question or doubt Him as often as you maybe have before. Don't be as fearful to do the things He has called you to do. Whatever it is, this is a new year to start fresh. This is an opportunity to step out with God. Step out into the unknown with God. Purpose in your heart, that what seemed impossible in 2022 is NOT impossible any longer.

Start this year off right. Start this year off with God and intentionally being more aware of His presence, what He is calling you to do, and where He is taking you.
