A Note from God

Today, let’s look at an inspiring section of Scripture in 2 Corinthians 3:12-18 (AMP):
12 Since we have such a [glorious] hope and confident expectation, we speak with great courage, 13 and we are not like Moses, who used to put a veil over his face so that the Israelites would not gaze at the end of the glory which was fading away. 14 But [in fact] their minds were hardened [for they had lost the ability to understand]; for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains unlifted, because it is removed [only] in Christ. 15 But to this day whenever Moses is read, a veil [of blindness] lies over their heart; 16 but whenever a person turns [in repentance and faith] to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty [emancipation from bondage, true freedom]. 18 And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit.

Here's my paraphrase of the above:
“Since God has provided a new and better covenant for me, I have a confident and expectant hope and I can testify about Him with great boldness. The gospel and my personal testimony is now open for all to see and understand, because anyone who hears my message about Jesus is able to accept Him in repentance and faith and Holy Spirit helps them to understand the Word with no barriers. The Lord is Holy Spirit, and everywhere I’ve made Holy Spirit Lord in my life, all chains are broken and I am truly and totally free! I look at myself through God’s eyes and see His glory that I reflect like a mirror, and the Word transforms me every day more and more into His glorious image by the power of Holy Spirit.”

This is very exciting! We live under the new covenant where God has provided understanding into His secret things by removing the veil once we repented and accepted Jesus by faith. I believe this passage also can be read that the closer we draw to Him, turning our eyes to Him (Hebrews 12:2, Ephesians 1:18), the more and more things He can reveal and make clear to us (Psalms 119:18, Luke 24:45). He transforms us by the renewing of our mind through the Word (Romans 12:2), which makes us look more and more like Him! We can do what He does, say what He says, and get the results He gets...because it’s Him working through us. We just agree with Him and watch His strong arm move mountains for us...what an amazing testimony He always provides!
